Central Moloney has been manufacturing distribution transformers and transformer components since 1949. The company has maintained a position on the industry’s leading edge with innovative products to improve the quality and reliability of electrical power equipment.
This project is a significant renovation to upgrade the manufacturing area of an existing facility that White Construction built for the developer, The St. Joe Company. The project installed modifications to accommodate new equipment to build transformers. The facility’s 130+ pieces of new equipment required careful MEPF coordination. The scope included minor office renovations and site improvements - concrete, utilities, and miscellaneous structures. A concrete containment basin was designed and constructed beneath three oil storage tanks to collect potential fluid leaks.
White Construction led a Design-Build team with DAG Architects to accomplish the upgrades.
