White Construction Company (WCC) received numerous project awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) chapters of Central Texas, Mississippi, and North Florida. The Excellence in Construction and Merit Awards program recognizes the innovation and quality of the project team, and projects are judged on quality, safety, innovative construction practices, and degree of difficulty.
The ABC Central Texas Chapter Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet took place on October 14th. WCC's Austin project teams attended the banquet, where they proudly accepted an Excellence in Construction Eagle Award for Cline's Landing and Porsche Austin, along with Excellence in Construction Merit Awards for Texas Hill Country Residence and Bouldin Creek.
The ABC North Florida Chapter Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet took place on November 18th. WCC's Panama City Beach project teams attended the banquet, where they proudly accepted an Excellence in Construction Eagle Award for the Beckrich Office Building project. In addition, this project also received the prestigious Project of the Year award.
The ABC Mississippi Chapter Merit Awards Banquet took place on November 19th. WCC's Ridgeland representatives attended the banquet to proudly accept the Excellence in Construction Gold Merit Award for Porsche Austin and a Silver Merit Award for Cline's Landing.
WCC also attended the Austin Business Journal's Commercial Real Estate Awards Banquet on October 13th, where their Bouldin Creek project received an award for Best New Office Development.
In addition, WCC received the Safety Award of Excellence from the ABC Central Texas Chapter and the ABC Greater Houston Chapter's Diamond Level, the highest level, for the ABC Safety Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) Award. STEP is a world-class safety management system that dramatically improves safety performance among participants regardless of company size or type of work. Participating ABC member firms measure their safety processes and policies on 25 key components through a detailed questionnaire to implement or enhance safety programs that reduce jobsite incidents.
