ABC Central Texas Excellence in Construction Eagle Award 2026
White Construction partnered with Thorndale ISD on a new $24.6 million high school that will serve as a cornerstone for education and community growth in Central Texas. The approximately 55,000 sf campus includes modern classrooms, administrative offices, a cafeteria, science labs, a culinary kitchen, band and locker rooms, and a prefabricated CTE building housing metal and wood shops. The project also features expanded parking and outdoor practice areas to support academic and extracurricular programs.
Delivered as a Construction Manager-at-Risk project, White Construction provided comprehensive preconstruction and general contracting services to support efficient delivery and long-term value.
Early challenges related to budget constraints and the project’s rural location were addressed through disciplined cost management, proactive subcontractor outreach, and strategic planning. The result is a high-impact facility that reflects White Construction’s commitment to Building Success Together.
